The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Phoenix (Gilbert), Arizona. This Accredited 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at the Sirrine Studio.
The Sirrine Studio is located in an exclusive private Gilbert Arizona location. Sirrine Studio serves to help support professional bodyworkers and massage therapists in the southwest region as well as Southern California. The training center is located in a peaceful and rural setting with a poolside lunch area surrounded by citrus trees and you can even take a dip in the pool to cool down after class. A canal bank with miles of trail backs up to the property of the training center so you could go for a stroll before class, or on your lunch break. The studio is minutes away from great dining, lodging, spas, golf courses and hiking in the Superstition Mountains, so it’s easy to turn your education seminar into a vacation if you come out with family.
While in Gilbert, AZ, be sure not to miss some of the outstanding food and drinks. Three of our favorites are Joe’s Farm Grill, Joes Real BBQ and Liberty Market.
Joe’s Farm Grill was featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. And, it’s no wonder. The location itself is awesome. Set on a large outdoor area “Agritopia”, there is sitting inside and out, and plenty of room outside for the little ones to run, while you dine on some of the best food around. Joe’s Farm Grill takes common foods to the next level featuring delish burgers, fries, pizza, salads, and ribs. The portions are large and can be shared, but why would you, when there are so many great choices t try.
Joe’s Real BBQ’s claim to fame is they offer real food! Barbecue is slow cooked over pecan wood and they offer equally delicious side dishes and desserts. Located in a real 1929 brick building set in the 'golden age' of agricultural Arizona, you will be served by real people who are proud of where they work and what they do as demonstrated through warm, genuine hospitality. The Phoenix New Times says, “At other places, the ribs are lean — the porkers work out on the treadmill and do sit-ups. But Joe's hogs are lounging somewhere, drinking margaritas, eating bonbons, and watching reruns of Curb Your Enthusiasm. (Well, Larry David is a pig.) The ribs have just enough fat on them to make 'em delish. And the sauce is sticky, tangy, almost sweet." We loved the BBQ and will be back this time through.
After eating at Joe’s Real BBQ hop across the street to Liberty Market. Part of the beauty may be the nostalgia. Liberty Market is a great place in downtown "Historic Gilbert." If you grew up in Gilbert, you likely shopped at Liberty Market when it was the town's general store. Maybe you and your cousins would show up in a pack to buy a coke (in a bottle) and pick up some groceries for the grandparents. Now, owners/partners, Joe & Cindy Johnston and David & Kiersten Traina (who run the day-to-day), have opened an awesome restaurant with a beautiful interior which offers something for everyone on the menu, including great coffee. It can get a little crowded around meal times but it's worth the wait.
Happen to be in Gilbert, AZ on your birthday - you have to do the “Birthday Trifecta”. In Gilbert, you receive $10 to spend at each restaurant - Joe’s Farm Grill, Joe’s Real BBQ and Liberty Market. Our suggestion, try a cheddar burger at Joe’s Farm Grill for Lunch, some BBQ ribs at Joe’s Real BBQ for dinner and then walk across the street for coffee and a delicious dessert at Liberty Market! You will have a birthday you are not sure to forget!
Hikers, bikers and climbers in Greater Phoenix have come to the same conclusion as coyotes, roadrunners and jackrabbits: The Sonoran Desert is a great place to play.
Three major mountains buttress Phoenix, providing visitors an outlet for every grade of outdoor pursuit. And because the Sonoran Desert is one of the most ecologically diverse deserts in the world, explorers will discover an extraordinary range of plant and animal life that varies with changes in elevation and climate.
For locals and guests alike, hiking, biking and horseback riding on Phoenix’s many mountain trails is a daily ritual. Many visitors are also surprised to learn that seven large lakes are within a leisurely drive of the city offering picturesque settings for water recreation.
There’s no wrong way to experience the natural splendor of the Sonoran Desert. The only tragedy would be to miss it.

Finally, an accredited pediatric massage certification program for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their practice by providing massage therapy and nurturing touch for pediatric clients. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.
Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.
As a CPMT, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized care through touch therapy to children who need it most.
